About Us

It is a tremendous privilege to welcome you to Vine Elementary, where staff and parents work together to help all children achieve academic success in a child-centered environment.  Our educational program focuses on providing challenging curriculum, based on the Common Core State Standards.  We are proud of the many successes that take place each and every day at our school.  We have many students who are recognized with deserving honors and awards.  Vine staff members are recognized as creative, innovative educators, who provide enriched classroom environments where students flourish.

We work together to create challenging programs that address the developmental, academic, social, and emotional needs of our students.

Our success is based on the participation of the community, staff, and students.  Our School Site Council, PTA, and English Language Advisory Committee are extremely active in supporting instructional needs.  Parents are encouraged to visit and be a part of Vine’s community of learners.

The school year lasts 183 days.  The school day officially begins at 8:35 a.m. and ends at 2:43 p.m. (2:33 p.m. for kindergarten students), except on Wednesdays when we dismiss students at 1:43 p.m. (1:33 p.m. for kindergarten) so teachers can meet and plan together.  The school office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
